Emergency Town Hall Meeting with Attorney General Lockyer* to Save Heart Programs at Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital

 

Tenet Healthcare closing Inglewood clinics on December 5th

 

Tenet Healthcare Corporation, the subject of federal and state investigations, will close its Cardiac Rehabilitation and Congestive Heart Failure programs and Fitness Center on December 5th.  The closures could result in unnecessary hospitalizations in a community that already suffers the highest rate of cardiovascular disease in the county.  The Town Hall Meeting will bring together patients, elected officials, faith- and community-based organizations and area residents to demand that Tenet Healthcare conduct a community planning process.
